We are going to familiarize ourselves with some of the New FrSky Receivers. Technology is something that advances each and every day. And these advancements bring tremendous upgrades and change the technology. What you see of something today is not what you see after 10 years. It will be changed into something that you will hardly recognize it. FrSky is one of those companies that doesn’t fail in releasing up to date products matching technology and user improvements. 

 

Archer Series

Archer series is the latest or New Frsky receivers that are hyper-matched with the ACCESS protocol. They not only feature wireless firmware upgrades and increased range and telemetry performance but also supports more functions like configurable telemetry power, S.Port/F. Port switching and FLR output, which is something absent in the ACCST receivers.

Some of the Additional valuable features are under development to unlock the true potential of the ACCESS protocol and we can expect it from FrSky soon. We have covered the differences between ACCST and ACCESS and hence we are not discussing it here. 

 

 Archer SR10 Pro

The Archer SR10 PRO is one of the New FrSky Receivers which is gyro-stabilized with a built-in 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer, and has 10 high-precision PWM channel outputs and features multiple flight modes and configuration methods. It is a full-range receiver with dual detachable antennas that guarantees optimal antenna-reception and maximum range possible. 

Moreover, the SR10 PRO can be used as a redundancy receiver along with any other FrSky ACCESS capable receiver equipped with an SBUS port. The SR10 PRO 10-channel receivers’ noticeable features are its Anti-vibration performance and dual-battery ports for redundancy. The 3 axis gyroscope can be used for RC Airplanes and Wings thereby eliminating the need of a Flight controller.

Archer SR8 Pro

As the name suggests, they are very similar SR10. These are also gyro equipped redundancy receiver with 8 Precise PWM channels instead of 10 Channels as in the SR10 Receiver. The rest of the features and specifications are matching with its predecessor. 

It is also one of the New FrSky Receivers that has OTA (Over The Air) firmware up-gradation capability. You can update the firmware on the Receiver without physically connecting to the Transmitter all over wireless.

Archer SR6 

This is the predecessor of Archer SR8 Pro and SR10 Pro. But this one also features the built-in gyroscope and multiple flights. It has 6 Precision PWM channels. But it lacks the feature voltage measurement which is present in the SR8 Pro and SR10 Pro.

We have seen some of the New FrSky Receivers which was out recently for the latest ACCESS Protocols.
