This station is also known as the X9E, this radio is an evolution of the very popular FrSky Taranis Plus with several refinements plus the very obvious tray design . Radios tray are ideal for pilots who like to pinch fly, or need access more easily to additional entries, which are saved in buying a desk , in exchange pilots flying with thumbs they are more uncomfortable because it becomes more difficult for them to reach the controls throughout their entire journey.

its shape is not very pretty, but rather ugly, but its performance is very good.

I had the opportunity to try one from a partner and due to my riding style and the size of my hands I did not feel very comfortable with it, I find it more comfortable in formats like taranis X9D in a more traditional way or even like the horus .

Personally to me that more I like in handling and format and more comfortable I encounter is with the Taranis X Lite S or Taranis X9D is my opinion and I find more tastes with them.

One disadvantage that I see in this station is that it does not have an external compartment for different types of modules, such   as the crosfire between them, and as advantages are the two screens on the station that facilitate the view of different parameters and different information easily and a great number of controls very easy to locate and operate

Then I show you the new features for the taranis E are the following:

It has a color OLED top mounted display for basic telemetry data, it also has a locking system - metal. the new cardan with better feeling 4 bearings , it also has a new navigation through buttons and rotary encoder , it has bluetooth (although it is not yet compatible through computers).

It has 2 additional sliders and more switches and pots, it has a safe on and safe off switch.

The most important aspect for any transmitter is to maintain a solid connection with the receiver. Frsky is well known for frequency hopping ACCST technology taking advantage of the entire 2.4 GHz band, resulting in excellent range and reliability. FrSky knows that many things can affect the connection between the transmitter and receiver, so RSSI (Receiver Signal Strength Indication) is built into all telemetry receivers. The Taranis transmitter is continuously monitoring the quality of reception on the aircraft. The Taranis will alert the pilot before signal quality becomes critical. This saves airplanes and makes the hobby much safer !
