NOT WORKINGI bought two units for upgrading my two x12s transmitters; after replace the old module by the new one, and upgrading the OpenTX to last version with "internalaccess" marked, I have no way to see the modelu activated on teh transmitters.
When querying devices in the System menu, internal module appears "---" , in both transmitters..
May be two defective modules, or just one defective installer ...Posted on

Good Update for my Horus X12SI want to update my Horus X12S to the ACCESS protocol and this is the perfect product.
It is very easy to install, there are video in youtube where you can see it.
Three indications ( I need to contact HorusRc for help, and they gave me a great service)
- Buy an adicional FrSky Transmitter Horus X12S 2.4GHz internal RF Antenna to add to ISRM (3 antennas are needed)
- Install OpenTx with the internalmodule check
- Flash ISRM with the firmware of the //access-upgrade-module-kit-x10-x10s// not of the Horus X10S (it will not recognize)Posted on

Used as an upgrade for my 12SI actually bought this to upgrade my 12S to access. The upgrade was very easy. The module plugs into the connector as the original board. The 12S has one external and one internal antenna. The module requires 3 antennas. I removed the antenna from the BT module and used it as the third antenna on the module. I used an old receiver antenna as a replacement for the BT antenna. I upgraded the firmware to the 10S upgrade download on the Frsky site. If you are running OpenTX, you will need to check the box ‘internalaccess’ and update the OpenTX to 2.3.9. The upgraded 12S now works with both Access and Accst receivers.

Simple replacement.I got this for one of my Horus X12S
Simple to fit and easy to update.
Lots of extra features like dual antenna, three if you count the external.
Open TX makes programming and registering your RX a breeze.
I chose not to go down the PARA route as they are feature`s that I will not use.
I would highly recommend this if you are thinking about converting an X12S to ACCESS.
If I did not have so many V8R7II RX I would update my other Horus as well, but for now one Horus on ACCESS and the other on ACCST.Posted on
